In 2015 they (Ed Currie and Andy Coxon) met performing in a show in London's West End. In addition to eight shows per week, dancing under hot lights, and dressing five flights from the stage without a lift, their gruelling schedule was very physically demanding. In addition, rehearsals, classes, and training are scheduled throughout the day. Mainstream deodorants weren't cutting it. Antiperspirants impaired their clothes, didn't stop their sweat and made us smell like teenage boys. Natural deodorants left them smelling like B.O after only a few hours. So they decided to create one themselves. They spent three years exploring, designing, acquiring, and teaming with leading fragrance and cosmetic science experts with exacting standards and creativity. The Deodorant Balm was finally born.

Due to the intensive process required to make each small batch of AKT Therapy products, they cannot accept returns or exchanges based solely on dissatisfaction.
