In Rushden, Northamptonshire, William Green begins making shoes in the loft above a corn merchant's business. Our workers made shoes by hand at this time, and William would distribute the work by visiting them daily to oversee the process. With his business growing, he moved into his first "factory" at Green Yard when machinery had just been introduced. It was one of the first shoe factories in the world to use the Goodyear Welted method. The business had grown to need bigger premises, and their success allowed them to build a state-of-the-art factory on the corner of Queen Street and Cromwell Road. They left this factory in 2013 to move to the current one. After William Green's death, CAK Green received
the business from his father. As part of its service to its country, Grenson manufactures thousands of boots and shoes for soldiers during World War. In the 60s and 70s, Grenson created many innovative products, including exotic skin shoes, but eventually began to suffer from a decline as imports from the far east increased. Grenson opened its first shop in London in 2008 on Liverpool Street.

Grenson was founded in 1866 and manufactures designer shoes. The shoes are made in their factory in Northamptonshire, England, from the skin to the box. In terms of shoemaking, these are the best shoes they have ever made. No shoes are better than those made in Northampton. There are some unbelievable bargains to be found at factory shops. There are sometimes discounts of up to a third or even half off retail prices.

G:Two lines are the lowest grade for Grenson shoes, made in India. However, even if they are made in India, the quality is still excellent, and apparently, they are more handmade than some of the made in England ones because of their lack of machinery.
