Their story originated in the mid-1980s when they first matched up with a small Vermont-based snowboard company called Burton to sell their new Establishments and Cruzer snowboards. Little did they realize how their two brands would develop over the next three decades.
TSA was launched as a standalone brand in October 1989 by their parent company, Ellis Brigham. They were given a tiny booth measuring 1.5m x 3m down an empty passageway.
In 1988, they ignored the wrath of ski industry snowboard-haters by selling Sims snowboards and Nitro snowboards, which they felt would be the ultimate snowboarding experience. As An official partner of POW, they donate 1% of all snowboard sales to charity. Their Impression is small, and they give back to the environment where they can.
