To get the very best results for our jewellery you will need to supply us with clear prints. We cannot stress this enough. If you use a standard ink pad there will be chance that you will oversaturate the print and only capture a solid black mark.. We cannot extract a fingerprint from a smudged or solid black print so if you can’t see a fingerprint- neither will we. Please retake the print (using different fingers) until you have at least 2 clearly defined prints with visible lines and whorls.. 1 Press finger against the surface of the pad. It is designed to not over saturate.2 Do not roll the finger from side to side.3 Reapply ink to retake each print, please take as many prints as possible.4 The print should be clearly defined with a clearly visible fingerprint.. Our Snozza Paw Print Necklaces are made using your pet’s actual paw print! Handmade to order in solid sterling silver, your pet’s paw print is reduced in size and then captured in silver and shaped around your pet’s print, so each one is unique. There will never be two the same!. You can either send us your own paw print taken with an ink pad or paint on white paper, or we can send you our special impression paper and inkless wipe. It’s completely non-toxic and safe for your pet, in fact, it’s the same impression kit we use to take babies hand and footprints.. Your paw print charm will be attached to a small jump ring and one of our gorgeous belcher or ball necklace chains.. Pawprints. For our Pawprint Jewellery, from Snozza, we will send you an impression pack which contains a special wipe and sensitised paper. This method of capturing hand and footprints was developed for use in maternity hospitals in America, and is totally safe for pets, too.. The pawprints will appear like magic on the paper, which you then send back to us. Of course, if you already have a ink print on paper that you'd like to use, just take a clear copy and email or post it to us.. With some magic of our own, we miniaturise the pawprints to fit your chosen item of jewellery and recreate them as though they were imprinted directly into the silver!. Sizing. Our Slender Silver Fingerprint Ring is a beautiful way to keep the touch of a loved one with you even when you’re apart.. After we receive your prints, we set to work. We will take the centre interesting ‘whorly’ section of your fingerprint and deep engrave it into a slender sterling silver ring, made to your size. We can engrave one fingerprint, covering half of the ring, or two fingerprints covering all of the ring with a small polished gap between the prints - the choice is yours.. You might like to add some special words to the inside of your ring, too. Just let us know when placing your order what you’d like (up to 25 letters, including spaces).. Sizing.
